About Volunteering at For the Love of Cats
They need you. We need you. Volunteer today.
Volunteers are very important people at For the Love of Cats. We are the only cat rescue covering all of southern Collier County. We rely on the assistance of caring and hard-working volunteers in all of our programs. In a year's time, For the Love of Cats receives as many as 250 lost, unwanted and abused pets, and helps thousands of people and animals throughout Collier county and beyond.
At our private shelter, cats and kittens enjoy the comfort of a nurturing environment in a veterinarian supervised facility.
For the Love of Cats encourages the participation of volunteers who support our mission to end the cruelty of pet over-poplation by involvement in our programs with the community to sterilize stray and feral cats through TNR (trap, neuter, return), rescue, foster, sterilization and adoption for kittens and abandoned domestic cats, assisting the public in need with low cost spay/neuter and medical fees along with support programs to help people to keep their pets.
All potential volunteers are interviewed prior to placement and participate in our training program as part of their work experience. We encourage you to complete an application. The information on this form will help us find the most satisfying and appropriate job for you.
