Linda Levine

Linda has been a volunteer with For the Love of Cats since 2004 and is currently the shelter manager. Originally from Pound Ridge, NY, Linda has lived on Marco Island 2002. She has been married to her husband Michael for 37 years and have two children: Cara, a Veterinary Pathologist in Knoxville, TN, and Mark an Appellate Lawyer in Miami, FL. She was an educator, business owner, and community volunteer before retiring. Linda worked for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation as the Director of Administration (New York Office), in charge of Personnel, Labor Relations, Budget, and liaison with NYC directorial shoots for 11 years. She has also worked for the White Plains Teachers Federal Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer for 17 years before retiring.

Previous volunteer experience:

Animal Oriented: Served as a co-chair of U.S. Pony Club/South Salem division, and Westchester County 4-H Club "Mom" for too many years to count! Grew up with and owned numerous and varied pets, including: dogs, cats, horses, birds, turtles, a chinchilla, and fish.

Other Orientations: Friends of Karen (Similar to "Make a Wish" Foundation), My Sister's Place (a center for abused women), Bundles for Aids families, and a PTA school liaison for Health & Safety in Katonah-Lewisboro school district.
